Most. Shahinur Akter, she born in a lower middle class family in 1998 at Razib village under Kaunia Thana of Rangpur district. She is the eldest among her 2 siblings with one younger brother. Her father was a poor farmer and mother was a typical housewife. Her father was the only earning member of a 07 member’s family. After the completion of her SSC examination, she came to Dhaka for searching a suitable job to survive.

After this, with the help of a knowing person of her village, who has already been working here; she got a one (01) month long free training on the Swing Basics and Swing Machines course with the full support of comfit composite knit limited that was implemented by the Bangladesh Textile Mills Association-BTMA under Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP). Upon successful completion of aforesaid training, she joined at Comfit Composit on 5th July, 2018 as a helper. Since, the course was arranged incurring  syllabus of theoretical and practical portion and the classes were conducted by experienced trainers. As a result, she gained production related essential knowledge and her skills towards job, temperament, leadership ability and so on. Subsequently considering these, the authority of comfit composite knit limited were pleased to promoted her as an operator with a monthly salary BDT 12000/- including basic, overtime, housing, medical and conveyance allowances.

Considering everything, she has announced that all credits goes to SEIP’s training activities and it is quite impossible to achieve such type of improvement opportunity without this type of free training. She pays 4000/- BDT monthly for bearing regular cost of the household in the village. She said that her family is running better than before.
