Recruitment Notice for the Position of Coordinator (Job Placement & Database)
Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) is implementing a project, namely “Skills for Employment Improvement Program (SEIP)” jointly funded by the Government of Bangladesh and the Asian Development Bank-ADB and under the supervision of the Finance Division, Ministry of Finance BTMA-SEIP Project Implementation Unit (PIU) is going to appoint a Coordinator (Job Placement & Database) of which details are as follows:
About the Job: The Coordinator (Job Placement & Database) will be responsible for placing the trained graduates of BTMA-SEIP project to gainful employment in the RMG and Textile sector. In addition, he/she will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the database of trainees, trainers and assessors.
He/she will (a) Monitor closely the job placement scenario of BTMA SEIP Project and will analyze all related data on job placement including wages/remuneration, staff retention, and other related information as required (b) Will regularly update the database (c) Will closely monitor, coordinate & liaise with all BTMA member factories, will take all necessary initiatives to improve the job placements rate, and will build an effective & strong network with employers of textile sector (d) Making frequent visit to training venues and potential employers for effective match making (e) perform any other task as required by the Chief Coordinator or by the project the management.
Educational qualification: Candidates must have a Master’s degree from a reputed university. This may be relaxed in case of extra ordinary qualification and / or experience.
Job Experience: 10+ years working experience on Job placement, especially, on planning, linking, liaison & coordination for job placement with the employers, database management of Job placement and ability to produce various statistical & periodical reports etc.
Salary & Benefits: Starting salary will be BDT: 60,000/= per month (which may be increased upon better performance up to 90,000/month) plus other admissible benefits as per project budget provision.
